Ribbon Cuttings

Ribbon Cuttings are a fun and meaningful way to introduce your business to the Perris business community. These celebratory events allow you to showcase your business, connect with fellow Chamber members, and gain visibility within the City of Perris.

Ribbon Cuttings are available to Chamber members and are commonly held for new businesses, grand openings, re-openings, anniversaries, expansions, or relocations.

The Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce frequently invites local dignitaries to join the celebration, including:

Mayor of Perris
City Council Members
State Senator’s Office
Supervisor Jose Medina’s Office
Assemblymember Corey Jackson’s Office

Attendance by dignitaries is subject to availability.

Scheduling & Fees

One complimentary Ribbon Cutting is included with Chamber membership for new businesses.
Ribbon Cuttings are scheduled based on the availability of the Chamber and the business.
Businesses are encouraged to submit multiple date options when requesting a Ribbon Cutting.

Businesses without a physical storefront may request to host their Ribbon Cutting at the Chamber office or another approved location. Light refreshments are optional and encouraged.

What the Chamber Provides

The Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce will:

Create and share a promotional flyer before the event
Promote the event on Chamber social media and events calendar
Invite Chamber Board members and local dignitaries
Provide ceremonial ribbon, scissors, and confetti poppers
Lead the ceremony and program flow
Present a Chamber plaque to Chamber members
Assist with group photos during the event

A typical Ribbon Cutting ceremony includes:

Welcome and introduction by a Chamber representative
Welcome to the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Perris
Recognition of dignitaries and Chamber Board members
Business owner remarks
Certificate presentations by dignitaries (with photos)
Official ribbon cutting and group photo

Businesses may invite anyone they wish to join them for the ribbon-cutting moment.
