Junior Ranger PATROL Program: WATER EVERYWHERE
It is time to hit the trails as a Junior Ranger in our inaugural PATROL program! As an alternative to our traditional stationary programs, this season we will be on our feet and actively engaging with nature. These programs will build off some of the topics covered in our traditional museum-based programs in afield-base setting. Join us on a family-friendly hike (1-2 miles max.) with a park educator as we take a detailed investigation into the ecosystems of our park. Recommended Ages: 7-12, parents and little siblings are welcome!
Meeting Location: Hunter's Parking Lot
Cost: Regular park entrance fees of $10 per vehicle applies
Water is essential for life, yet not many stop to realize the effect it has on ecosystems. On this PATROL we will look at the impact water has on plants, animals, mountains and hills. We will enjoy some seasonal wildflowers as well!
