Benefits of Chamber Membership

The purpose of the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce is “to support and promote the Perris Valley business community.” In support of this mission, we offer our members a variety of services:

Publicity: Our Chamber will display your brochures and business cards in our Visitor’s Center lobby, where many Chamber visitors pick up publicity items. We also encourage Chamber members to provide materials for handout at Chamber events, and for inclusion in packages which we provide to tourists and new Perris residents. Your business can also be listed on our Chamber website. And we are happy to support your Grand Openings and special events, perhaps with news releases and suggested invitation lists.

Referrals: We receive numerous phone calls, letters, emails, and walk-ins every week, asking for suggestions on local businesses to patronize. We promote our Chamber members to these potential customers, giving them specific contact information and directions.

Networking: Our Chamber tries very hard to foster communication between our members, civic organizations, governments, and our community. Two well-attended monthly events are Chamber Mixers and Wake Up Perris! breakfasts. These provide opportunities to meet other business people and visit their facilities, to talk with city staff and community leaders, and to listen to invited speakers on a wide range of topics. Our Chamber directory provides contact information between our members. We also provide advice on how citizens and businesses can interact more effectively with City Hall.

Community Involvement: Our Chamber provides opportunities for members to become involved in the Perris Valley community. Examples include the very rewarding Student of the Month program, civic events such as the Rods & Rails Festival and the Holiday Parade, and election-year Candidate Forums. One option with a local publicity bonus is to host one of the Chamber’s monthly events described above.

Information: An essential Chamber function is to provide useful information to its members and to the public. This includes economic data on Perris and the region, recommendations about potential vendors, phone books and contact information, government resources for business support, descriptions of local tourism and recreation options, and much more. And if we don’t have the info, we often know where to find it.

Hiring Support: If you are hiring, we can include your listings in our Job Opportunities notebook – people look through it every day. A related resource is our Chamber’s information on local attractions and housing options, which can help convince prospects to move to Perris and simplify their relocation process.
